Unfortunately not. You need a Korg nanoKONTROL for instance. There is a so called native mode that is used to work ootb with Gadget. You have to be sure that the according device is enabled in the iOS system settings under Gadget. There you will also see the list of compatible Korg devices.

Ah here! Thanks, but it would have been okay if they also made it possible to map the sliders of the main mixer, what the fuck

  • It also seems that with Gadget 3 something is broken :| Gadget sends play state to the nanoKontrol, but nanoKontrol will not be put into native mode, means that it does not control Gadget. Wanted to reverse engineer the messages, but…

Does anyone else has this problem? I am using an iPad mini 6, latest iOS 17 and direct connect to nanoKontrol2. Same issue with iPhone 6s an iOS 15… :/

Have you checked iOS Settings > Gadget > Native Mode for the controllers?

Native mode is working on NanoKEY Studio with all my devices, iOS 17 and iOS 15.

  • Ok, that is strange, but good to know. Native mode is on in the settings. Used the nanoKontrol the last time with Gadget 2. Have to dig deeper…
