Drambo clip speed (triplets: Dotted and Triplets)
Hi colleagues!
Before I will ask @giku, maybe somebody know if it’s possible to have D and T speed of clip in Drambo?
Like on the picture (taken from mKer sequencer)…

I'm all in for this feature but I wonder if we're the only two here 😉
+1 one and also add these divisions for the bars, grid-lines etc. instead of the 'fixed' 16 steps/bar![:sunglasses: :sunglasses:](https://forum.loopypro.com/resources/emoji/sunglasses.png)
+2 - Add me to the list!
I thought this was an obvious thing?
Of course we want more time signature, division, etc. options!
There’s got to be more Drambo users that want this other than the handful of us here. Isn’t there a “feature request” form or list over at the Beepstreet forums? Beta section? @giku_beepstreet ?
This has got to be at the top of the list of most requested features.
Indeed, the more people want it, the higher the chance becomes that it's going to be implemented sooner.
dRambo needs triplets and dotted note
lengths in the PR roll for sure.
It’s really limiting without them.
One can only do so much with 16ths.
Put me in the crowd that hasn't said anything because "Doesn't everyone want that?".
I just assumed triplets, time signatures, etc. are obvious priorities that there just hasn't been time to get to yet.
We have speed x3 so it’s kind of triplets, but… it’s not the same flexible like full list mentioned in the first post divisions.
I miss that a lot. It seems the auto grow is the reason why Giku is threading lightly with odd signatures etc.
I certainly wouldn’t like to lose auto grow as it makes Drambo behave like an audio looper but with midi.
Also I know many people are keep for per clip divisions settings. I’d be happy with them being on the pattern level so all instruments/tracks divisions can be changed quickly.
I realise I’m confusing divisions and signatures here but I’m all for that wacky stuff.
We can also change to 3/4 , (12 beats per bar) or 5/4 for (20 beats per) , by long pressing the clip number. I didn’t even know about that till last week when I happened upon that menu by accident.
^^^ this. Definitely want this feature though.
So , in addition to the general incomprehensibleness that I confront on multiple attempts to try to get to grips with the basics of Drambo ,
when I did try using it , non- 4/4 attempts were quickly abandoned & added to the list of why I don’t use Drambo.
So a +1 vote from a Drambo owner ,(but not user…partly for this reason ) .
Makes sense in way.
Personally I could easily lose the Autogrow for the triplets etc.
When writing solos it's frustrating because not every note is a 16th
and creating drum fills again it's the same thing.
We can do stuff with triplets and different measures rhythmically
but that involves setting up the Retrigger module and added midi control.
Yup, this is useful for sure however if you have a 4/4 groove but you want![;) ;)](https://forum.loopypro.com/resources/emoji/wink.png)
16th triplets then dRambo comes to a standstill hence why we're requesting it.
