MoDrum & Bassline from Finger Pro (Updates & iOS8 coming!)
MoDrum (which is like a beatbox app) and Finger Bassline (which is a TB-303) are two older apps from the same developer. I own the latter, and thought about buying MoDrum to go with it, since I'm addictive to everything beatbox. Turns out they were pulled from the app store. Oh no!
Fortunately, I headed to the website and found that they have actually been updated and are already submitted to Apple with a list of new features! Good news, as these are two basic but solid apps with universal compatability. I will buy MoDrum when it comes back.
MoDrum 4.0 and BassLine 5.0 have been submitted to Apple for approval. Here’s what to expect:
MoDrum Version 4.0
Redesigned User Interface
Added factory presets by Sunsine Audio
Added two packs by Sunsine Audio to the pattern store
Audiobus 2 state saving
Inter-app audio
Backup and restore projects using iTunes File Sharing
MIDI enhancements
MIDI over Bluetooth LE support (iOS 8+)
Native 64-bit support
BassLine Version 5.0
Improved sound quality
Added MIDI output support
Removed tilt control
Audiobus 2 state saving
Inter-app audio
Backup and restore projects using iTunes File Sharing
MIDI enhancements
MIDI over Bluetooth LE support (iOS 8+)
Native 64-bit support

That's nice news. I like Mo drum a lot. V straightforward drum box but with a lot of control. Wish it had send effects rather than master effects.
Great news. Two apps that work perfectly together. Some room to improved, as has said.
Right now, not available in the Store. Maybe a bundle pack...
Yeah, I was worried they had been discontinued/pulled from the App Store altogether! So this is even better news, since my concern about both is that neither had been updated for quite some time. The drum synthesis is more limited than something like SeekBeats, for example, but it also looks a heck of a lot easier to get in there and make something.
In the store. Means for me the german one.
I have MoDrum as an update, but get the old 'The item you tried to buy is no longer available' when I try to update it. The hamsters over at the app store must be totally shagged out at this point...
EDIT: Working now. Looking forward to seeing what Mister Storm's enthusiasm is all about (see below .
The MoDrum update is live! (And back in the store). I probably checked using "Search" like 4 times a day for the last few days, then I wake up and Discchord has a post about it before I even noticed. Ha.

Early impressions: LOVE it. Already thinking this will be one of my favorite "on the go" beatmakers on iPhone. Programming is the traditional "808" style (but more accessible) where you program instrument-by-instrument. Sound quality seems excellent - convincing bass drums that can be punchy or swell with decay, and good "noise"/"click" controls to synthesize snares, hats, etc.
But my favorite thing about it how you get sounds OUT of the app. There's a bunch of ways to do it:
BOUNCE LOOP - Quickly grabs a recording of the 16-step measure you're working on and creates a .wav file to export.
CAPTURE RECORDING - Similar to above, but does a measured recording of intervals between 1 and 128 bars. (Not sure if there is a "song" mode, however, so it would probably be the same pattern over and over)
AUDIOBUS RECORDING
IAA RECORDING
As for the IAP packs, I may buy one, but they are basically just pre-baked patterns with some settings tweaks.
The criticism I see of MoDrum is that there isn't enough variety of sounds. I get that, but at the same time, the app is basically like it's own "808" or "909" - MoDrum IS the instrument. So if you'd buy a standalone app for one device (or the device itself, like people used to do for 100's of dollars), then there's no reason you can't use MoDrum similarly.
Can get only one at a time to play in Cubase through Audiobus. Makes no difference with which I start. Bassline first for example sound. Adding modrum, bassline killed. And visa versa. Is there a trick? Unfortunately the documentation is very "simple".

Sorry, don't have Cubasis, and 95% of the time I simply use the apps to bounce loops, which works great. Be sure to report a glitch if you have a repeatable issue.
Will mail the dev.

Just curious, why no WIST support anymore?
Yearh why no more WIST??
Its a shame, i was using that...
I was expecting some reaction to Elastic Drums release, a kind of improvement, but not this one.
I'll keep the early ipa files to step back if necessary.
