It is my usual blend of fake drums and too much vocoder.
It's a cool idea and performance sounds fairly good in my stereo on moderat volume (no headphones).

I would call this genre a cyberwave. This track will fit perfectly in any cyberpunk scenery, I’m not going to bombard you with imagery, you know what I mean.

Nice. For some reason, it made me think of the Saw movies. It would make a great soundtrack for that type of film. Love the addition of the strings too - they really fit well.

The vocoder is mostly Logic’s stock EVOC20 vocoder but is layered with Arturia’s Vocoder from the V collection. I think there are three different kinds layers of vocoder in the main chorus part.
I also used Sonic Charge’s BitSpeak on the Mac for the speak n spell style fx. Which also got layered with vocoder in places. Too much vocoder :-)
Drums, for anybody interested, are all from the Arturia DrumBrute Impact drum machine.
One day I will vocode the drumbrute. I love vocoded drums too :-)

I love when those background chords come in at 0:48. Really creates a mood that contrasts with everything else. Sorry, I’m bouncing around listening to things. Then it gets really dark at 2:00. I like the vocoder effects. Then the drums in at 3:32. Yeah. The SoundCloud version sounds better to me than the video version. Sorry I missed this the first time. Nice track, bro.

The SoundCloud and YouTube versions should sound the same. I’m reasonably sure I used the same audio. But YouTube seems to butcher the audio conversion a bit more.
