My tinnitus books free on Amazon until tomorrow

edited February 8 in Other

Hello folks. I not been on here for a while. I have benefited greatly from this forum so wanted to offer something very small in return. This week is Tinnitus Week 2024. I know T is a subject nobody really wants to talk about in the music community. But unfortunately it’s a problem that many of us musicians face.

I have written 2 books on the subject. They’ve sold in many countries now and been featured on some big podcasts. To help celebrate T week I have made them free for a few days, tomorrow is the last day (Feb 9th) and I remembered that I hadn’t shared it here.

If you fancy having a read the kindle version is $0 right now. (Free). Here is the link. I really hope they help if you do have a read.

I also have a new T YouTube channel where I’m going to be sharing lots of new videos.

Thanks for all the fantastic info and fun this forum has given me over the last 4 years.

  • Thank you. The shrieking in my ears has threatened to drive me over the edge, and any contribution at all, of ways to deal with it, is welcome.

Hi, thanks , will do 👍🙏

  • I also just found out this morning that one of the books is no3 on Amazon at the moment which is amazing. The more attention this often not discussed topic gets the better IMO.

  • I’m only seeing “Free with Kindle Unlimited” on your books. I’m assuming tomorrow I will see a price for these books. Is that the case?

Excellent accomplishment! I'm not into Kindle so much as I am paperback books. Is there a paperback version mate?

    Thank you.

Been living with tinnitus for years, because I used to play live (and loud) in a few bands. :/

Hopefully something in either book might help.

Yea I can’t download it through the Amazon app? How do I get them, or did I miss it?

lol oops tomorrow? I see free I don’t read much further, lol.

  • I downloaded it thru my kindle no problem. My tinnitus as been furious for the last week so this books comes right on time.

  • Hi fellas. Yes it’s a free download until tonight. Hope it helps with some good tips. I have genuinely enjoyed a lot of stuff from this forum so if they help anyone here it gives me a lot of pleasure.

The downloads have been incredible. The books are currently no 1 and no 2 in pain management and no 1 in music promotions section. That one is emotional for me as I know that so many musicians struggle with T and I hope that this conversation changes going forward, in that we feel like we can be more open about it and that we get more support for it.

    Anyway, free until tonight

    Thanks man

If trying to get them on mobile, the Amazon and Kindle apps won’t work—you have to log in to Amazon using a Web browser instead.

Thank you, @JackRubinacci , I don’t usually have issues but have had terrible ringing for the past 2 days so your offer is very timely for me! (I theorize it might be worse because I haven’t had much sleep but not sure…)

Thanks. Was able to purchase both through safari. I kept trying to use Amazon app then kindle app, but was finally able to do it in the browser.

Thanks @JackRubinacci I really appreciate the generosity, I look forward to reading these. Cheers!

  • Maybe not available in Aus. "This title is not currently available for purchase "

Yes. Using the Safari browser exposed the option to purchase for $0. I know I had a trial run of Kindle Unlimited and maybe that’s a factor in Chrome and the Amazon app failing to expose the free price option or even expose the option to start a Kindle Unlimted subscription. It always strikes me as a odd when Amazon has strange issues around accessing something in the app vs a browser and then being hung up on a specific browser.

Thanks @JackRubinacci for sharing your work with us.

  • Hello folks, free download is over now. Really hope there’s some good tips in the books. Was taken back by how many downloads there were, especially of the musician book. Just highlights the fact that it’s a problem among musicians.

As mentioned I have a new YouTube channel dedicated to Tinnitus videos that might be of interest as there will be a lot of info geared towards musicians . Thanks again folks. I really have enjoyed a lot from this forum.
