Sherlock Holmes in Hyderabad
GeoShred Sarangi and violin, Bassalicious and Module choir and cello w/strings. I’m referencing the Sherlock Holmes/Jeremy Brett theme if you can hear it.
Comments
I had to look for the theme music too see if I could hear it:
the fourth note is not spot on… but it is with the Exodus theme:
Maybe “Sherlock Holmes on Mt Sinai”. “Jew eat yet?” (Woody Allen in “Annie Hall” before he become toxic).
@McD yeah, you’re right. I hadn’t thought about Exodus. Music in music out.
That’s nicely put together and has a lot of East meets West about it, but not with the clashing of cultures that comes about when most people do it. Done well (as you have) it comes out more like the collaboration between Shankar and Glass, which gives more on each listen.
Thanks for the reminder about Jeremy Brett’s Sherlock Holmes - I thoroughly enjoyed that show and will see what my streaming options are to see it again.
Jeremy Brett is indeed excellent also of note is the highly acclaimed Soviet production of Sherlock Holmes.

Thx @michael_m sad Brett died too soon. He was the best Sherlock.
Definitely. He was the only one that really saw the darker side of Holmes that Conan Doyle touched on so often.
Wow, that duet goes deep. One of your best.
Thank you @Wrlds2ndBstGeoshredr, Minister of Microtonality. Much appreciated!
A nice blend of sounds with more than a hint of Eastern Promise
Thx @AlterEgo_UK looking forward to listening to your new album, bro.
Very nice, understated, and Brett indeed was the best Holmes 🤘
Thank you. Not very long to wait now.
Nice, sparse, delicate etc etc I liked it.
Thank you @GeoTony and @Krupa. Appreciated.
