Tera Pro tempo LFO double triggering?
Trying to reproduce a pretty simple modular patch, in which the VCA’s envelope is continuously pulsed while the VCF’s envelope is triggered by a keyboard.
This turns out to be weirdly difficult, in this environment.
Tera Pro looked like it was going to do it. I can set the ADSR driving the AMP to be triggered by an LFO, and set the LFO to be TEMPO synced. But it seems to phase back and forth between actual tempo and double. The sound will pulse at tempo for a little while, then switch to doubled. And I can’t find any internal modulation that might account for it.
Any knowledge on this?
Tangentially, what app would you use to produce the effect? Getting VCO and VCF to be triggered by separate sources seems to not be much of a thing. I’m thinking of just using miRack.
