Stellarvox from Igor Vasiliev - Out Now

Comments

  • Hybrid reverb with an artificial space designer and a second stage of algorithmic reflections is ideal for creating rich sound atmospheres and whispering backgrounds in ambient, electronic, experimental and sound design

  • Looks great, and sounds awesome.

  • Awesome, looking forward to use it...

  • A new sonic spaceship to explore the unknown! 🤓

  • I have a premier set for 4.00 pm UK time if anyone is around to watch it first.
    It is a stunning app.

  • Instabuy!

  • Done. Keep creating, Igor! 🙌

  • New apps from Igor are always an instant buy! :-) Looking forward to dig in tonight!

  • Igor is a monster. He doesn't belong with us. What a beautiful achievement. What is going to be the next ear candy he is going to surprise us with?

This is so nice, and a great addition to my Igor collection.

A nice new video from Igor too:

Could not resist. Had to buy it - and don’t regret it. The sound from this thing is a treat. Gives me goosebumps.
Reminds me of the eerie echoes and reflections in the radome of the abandoned NSA Teufelsberg listening post in Berlin (there are actually IR files of that location available).

  • I have a full walkthrough up on my Patreon for Stellarvox, 3 codes to give away there, and a preset pack I made that has quite a different flavour from the factory sounds. Here is a short demo of some of my presets, with a link to the Patreon in the pinned comment 🙏

  • I have LOOOOTS of reverbs. Keep the GAS under control ommm🙏🏼

  • Awwwww come on!!!!!!!! Where's the record button? :'(

  • I love most of his apps but what slows me down is the preset selection. Its a different window and you must select preset then press SET to change, then close that window. Thats 4 steps to simply change to a new preset

  • Is it possible to load our own IR?

The preset system drives me bonkers, tbh, in these apps

  • Can’t recommend this one enough. I’ve been having a blast with it. But I do echo the sentiments about the preset system. It’s a vibe killer for sure. Especially in AltiSpace which has 9,625,729 presets to scroll through.

It definitely can't load external impulse responses. There is nothing in the UI that can be used for that. The app generates its own impulse responses. It does so as a way of cutting down cpu.

Thank you @eylvy. The guitar is my main instrument, so I appreciate any app review where it is used.

But this is not related to the import of IR?

I don't know what that does, maybe someone else can answer

I wrote to the developer. I tried to download the IR, but writes that an error has occurred. I've tried different file formats.
Updated. You cannot upload your own IR files. Stellar Vox generates them. It can be uploaded to Altispace.

  • Automation and modulation for Stellarvox on Drambo seems to be bugged. It does not respond to recorded automations and when trying to modulate it with Drambo’s LFOs the center point seems to change randomly.
