Oh by the way I just released another new single

that's three so far in the past few weeks

this one’s called Slow Perturb and it’s about Telluric Currents, it’s on YouTube and sprotify and probably the rest later as time trudges on

stuff that might interest people here… the vocals are me singing into the Roland E-4 twice, once initially using the harmoniser to track pitch but not lock it too well, and vocoded into triads, but this was then used as backing – then I sang it again but using Logic Pro step sequencer to drive the melody while I sang the lyrics as the main top line

almost everything else is OpSix in Logic Pro, but there's some NTS-1 arpeggiating occurring, bringing with it the tasteful digital noise that is characteristic of the NTS-1, I might as well have left a fax machine running all the way through – at least the NTS-1 is drowned in it's own reverb and chorus and delay

I also repaired my guitar and used it for the intro and bridge and other places, into PD Space Guitar

but yeh, I’m adding my song to the pile of songs already about Telluric Currents

Oh and I forgot to mention the other single from last week – Aura Of Past Life, which is a song about Kirlian Photography

This one uses the Roland J-6 as a snoud module for chords from Logic Pro

  • Beautifully odd, in a good way!
