Atom pianoroll 2 launch one instance on track while stopping the other

edited February 16 in App Tips and Tricks

This might be the most stupid question asked in this forum, because it seems so obvious. Its just plain ableton style. I desperately want to click one launchbutton from atom and play that clip, while stopping the other playing clip on the same track. And preferably on the ipad screen, without external hardware, so you can experiment in the train or anywhere.
Can’t imagine that would be impossible….
Thanks for all hints

    What host are you using?

  • In AUM the way to accomplish this is to set up all the instance that you want to stop each other in a single AUM midi lane. Then long-press the launch button in each clip and set Choke Mode to ON.

    Great! Thanks!
    But maybe the next question… Forgive me for that (-;
    Is there a way to switch clips at the first beat of the bar? Or at the end of the running clip?

    (By the way: is there a kind of manual for atom?)
