Mackie Pro FX 6?
Does anyone have any experience with using a Mackie Pro FX 6 with Mac and iPad?
I own a few interfaces, none of which was bough within the last decade, and each one has its own issues, so I’m thinking of getting something new.
Maybe someone can provide a recommendation or pros and cons? Or maybe even a good alternative?
Here are my requirements:
• USB connectivity to hub
• Mac and iPad connectivity
• One mono channel for permanent connection (1/4”)
• One stereo channel for permanent connection (1/4”)
• One (or more) mono connections for 1/4” or XLR
• Ability to mix level between USB playback and input instruments

Yamaha AG06mk2 seems a close alternative.
You’re sure you want hardware monitoring?
A future purchase here will be an audio interface for my wife’s Mac with similar requirements (and I’d prefer it has iOS support). We decided against a mixer with 2x2 due to wanting to monitor through Cubase to add effects. The Steinberg UR44c would fit your requirements (also Yamaha lol), but 8x8 interfaces can be found used for similar money.
Thanks, will look at the Yamaha and the Steinberg.
