Very cool man!! Thanks for posting these!!
np, I forgot to mention that the sequencer in WoodSynth obviously drives the internal synth engine BUT can also sends midi out to drive other apps/synths/devices. And it can even output CV for the modular fans ...
best,
Woodman
Had I known that earlier, I have had step bud for a long time too but didn't realize. Now if you could expose the steps as AU Parameters so I could toggle them with my launch pad...
The sequencer of @woodman Woodsynth is really good, I can recommend it. And you also get a wonderful synthesizer with it
(I have woodsynth) the idea of clicking on right/left of a single button to open windows different ways is unintuitive.
@5k3105 : ok good point, I'll think of doing this in another way.
I can’t think of anything good. Very interesting synth though. Maybe some background line in middle of button or something
Lol. I didn’t know that’s how it worked - I thought you just had the click the button a random number of times before it opened the window!
haha from the manual :
Each synth parameter panel button at the bottom (Layer, Source, …) has a left and right side which will show the panel either in the middle or on the right.
but I know, nobody reads the manual :-)
so yes should be more intuitive.
My girlfriend knows I'm using Woodstepper because whenever I open it I shout MURDERER! As in, 'here comes the Woodstepper...'
That is all.
I've tried many, but Senode hits the sweet spot for me. I sequence four voices of my modular from it, with everything on one page. I feel in control. It's fantastic, and not that hard to understand, though you'll get best results if you have some basic music theory under your belt.
Edit: Never mind. Did a quick google. Thanks anyway.
What kinds of sequencers are there other than step sequencers? Put another way, what is the definition of a step, apart from the fact that it is part of a sequence?
Something like the desktop stuff Stepic would be the winner for me.
Let's not forget this great one from Sugarbytes. Thesys
Did this ever go auv3?
It didn't, sadly
