Digitone + Pro VS mini jam
After long time of inactivity i revisited again my hw gear... damn, completely forgot how much fun it is :-)
Also quite challenging to do live jam with just Digitone especially when you have multiple different sounds on same track.. If anybody interested, i use technique where i lock volume of some steps and then i turn down global track volume - that way i can mute unmute independently different sounds on same track..
for example here T1 has kick and bass on it, but kick has p-locked volume so it lays even if i set track volume to zero, vhat effectively mutes just bass.
Also all hihats + snare are on same track too, ther is this tchnique used for independent playing just snare and then snare + hihats
Still thinking about switching my Digitakt for second Digitone, i have so much more fun with Tone than with Takt, i am just not samples guy lol

Nice. If you are in Berlin, drop by and I will swap my digitone for your digitakt
Dendy, got an old iPhone around?
I wonder how much use you're getting out of the other 3 MIDI tracks.
My DN now controls a Volca FM 2, a blofeld, an analog monosynth and Drambo on an iPhone 6 for synthetic, modelled and sampled drums and percussion. I'm using Drambo rather like a preset player in this setup. And the iPhone 6 is still more than capable enough for this.
Not much ... my big problem with using MIDI part of DN is that for muting tracks i still need toggle between synth view and midi view which is not ideal - i very often mess up and mute / unmute wrong tracks
)) This thing is MUCH better on Digitakt where you have all mutes (audio tracks and midi tracks) on same page.. i wish there was some view on DN where mutes / solos would be available thrown trig buttons - that would solve a lot ..
nice setup... do you have somewhere recordings of your jams ?
Somehow, I can't force myself to combine hw with iphone .. There is something inside me what prevents me to do this, some kind of resistance
) I either go fully HW-only or fully iPad/iPhone ![:) :)](https://forum.loopypro.com/resources/emoji/smile.png)
Higly unlikely cause i am lazy bastard to travel even to neighbour city, taking apart of travelling into other country, but IF that happens, agreed :-)
