Ethnic Electronic - New album from A Multitude of One
https://amultitudeofone.bandcamp.com/album/ethnic-electronic
Available now on Bandcamp and Spotify, Ethnic Electronic is the 7th album in my series of retrospectives - although many of these tracks have been extensively re-worked.
The focus here is on World Music but with an electronic twist.
All tracks were initially composed and recorded on my iPad and finished off on my Mac, in Logic.

Listening now. How did you make the didge/vocal in Dreamtime?
Love the guitar solo on the Indian jam. Acoustic instruments with a human player add so much to a track.
Thanks @Wrlds2ndBstGeoshredr - I used Photophore Synth for the deep drone vocal sound and an Alchemy Didgeridoo patch for the actual Didge.
This is lovely work, Hard to pick a favourite as all a really good showcase for world music. I particularly liked Dreamtime too. A 'melodic drone' like this is hard to beat.
Thank you very much
The didge patch is brilliant. Too bad I lack Alchemy.
Just finished listening to the last 3 tracks.
I think this is my favourite album of yours that I’ve listened to. Definitely my sort of music.
All done very well, nothing that sounds like a pastiche and all beautifully played and recorded.
Great pipes on track 2. Is this a desktop sound ?
Dagda’s Lament was 🙏
Dreamtime as, as others have said, just beautiful
Fantastic sitar sound and technique on Indian jam, how did you do that ?
Great work Colin 👍
Thanks @GeoTony - much appreciated!

The "sitar" sound on Indian Jam was actually me playing my acoustic guitar, plucking octaves and using an Eastern scale.
This is a wonderful world synth project. I try it myself, but not nearly as good as this. Love the way the drums come in on the first track. So unexpected and powerful. Only halfway through. Excellent stuff.
Thank you so much @LinearLineman - glad you are enjoying it!
That opening riff is super catchy! I love how the whole thing develops. Those drums were a nice surprise. Great track!
Cheers @Paulieworld It started out as a live AUM jam session but I added the drums, violinand bass in Logic mainly to add some variety and some development. I was happy how it turned out too
