Sunrizer or Poison-202
This one !! Even after all those years unbeated when it comes to trance sounds - that combination of easy to use and quality of sound .. literally hardware level …

Has to be poison 202. Easy to programme and cuts through the mix. Plus it reminds me of my first synth the roland sh 201
I submit Audio Damage's Continua as a good one for this. Also pretty good for dub techno stabs.
+1 for Poison 202. Good lord that synth has some great sounds and takes absolutely no power.
Also synthmaster. A beast to program, but if you like presets it has them all, every one. For a price tho.
Besides the aforementioned Sunrizer and (especially) Poison 202, it must be said that Flowtones from Toneboosters can also achieve that sound , even on some of the presets
