    Yessssss!

  • It is fun!
When I press midi learn everything goes black (?) Press the screen and the parameters are dimly, momentarily revealed…. I don’t get it…

  • Pairs nice with AudioThing’s SR88

  • Not THIS is my kind of jam! Love it.

  • Hahaaa!! This is really cool.
Nice for fills and a bit of earcandy here and there 🤩

This is lovely - thanks for the heads up! Does anyone have an idea of how to route things to make it sync in Aum to tempo and start? (I can of course kinda do it manually, but it would be amazing to be able to have it start in sync and the right tempo woth some midi-trickery)

  • Doesn’t even open on my m1

I had to restart my iPad but it worked after that and it is nice

    Thanks guys!!
Great finds, and the jAmp IR app from the same developer, Jan Maes, looks like a useful one too 😊

Edit: Indeed, a device restart was required to make them work.

  • Does anyone know how to get in touch with the developer? Sending mail to the email address listed on his web site gives me an "undeliverable" response from jamp-audio.com.

  • Thanks @sevenape and @Gavinski (video notification alerted me to its existence).

    Fun!

I’m wondering if the missing/weird bits (see Gav’s video) are down to it being a port from Pure Data?

    Still fun, though!

  • Very fun! I just made a thing with it, and AudioThing’s new SR88 vintage drum machine. In Creations now. :)

Cheers John! Yeah, I mentioned you in the vid @sevenape as I heard about this from you here, nice one! Somebody else just told me the midi learn looks normal on theirs John - I guess it might be a device-specific bug then, or something?

Maybe, it looks the same as in your video to me. Could be the OS version as well, I suppose.

I sent mail to the dev at the listed email asking if he could follow host tempo and start/stop. His reply:

“Not that I know of right now. If I have some time I will investigate whether it is possible with the API that Apple provides and let you know. If it is possible I will update the app.”

    Interesting, thanks.
Apple's API does provide means to access transport status and position for sure.

  • Nice bleeps! Pairs well with the Axon 3 beta.

  • Cool little app! Instant Autechre

  • Doug's jam:

  • Is there any way to tune the drums?

Not with external help. It’s free if you wanna try it out! Doug goes through all the in the video linked above your comment.

    Thanks I’ll give that a go :)

  • Anyone else really disappointed this doesn't sync, start/stop with host?
I know I could manually match tempo and sample chunks etc but still :/

It would be nice yes but it sounds like the dev is new to coding auv3 and hasn’t worked how to do that yet.

  • Yes, but remember that Griker quoted the dev above as saying: “If I have some time I will investigate whether it is possible with the API that Apple provides and let you know. If it is possible I will update the app.”

It is possible, so an update adding transport sync should be totally doable.

Hope so. I'd gladly pay for an IAP or relaunched version. Love the sound this thing makes.

  • very fun and cool AUv3, for the price I have no complaints :D
