Beautiful ....very
Interesting - what was the other featured app, i didn't recognise that one?
It's a template of Lemur maked by Antonio Blanca (Lemur Genius) and is a Midi Sequencer named Abreakpoint 2
Very very cool track...nice use of the apps, and great sound..
Really Thanks....you make me happy :-)
@Sinapsya - I recently built a Lemur controller for iDensity, to control the wave position (scrub). The Lemur knobs/faders seem to send only 128 discreet levels of CC, so when running Lemur (in background mode), you can see the iDensity wave position cursor jumping from point to point, not a smooth motion. I know you use Lemur to control iDensity, so is there any way to get a higher resolution control of the wave scrub?
My Scrub Wave controlled by Lemur or other midi controller works good....
I don't understand...
If you want more resolution you need to Zoom in the Waveform with the Lens Button
Say I have a sample in iDensity that's 128 seconds long... As the Lemur fader moves, the sample position jumps in one second increments, which you can see and hear. I discussed this with Lemur dev, and he confirmed that faders send up to 128 discreet levels of CC, and that it was up to the receiving app to smoothly interpolate. He suggested I ask you, but if you don't know what I'm talking about, then I guess I'm out of luck on that issue.
@smeeth I don't own either app but I wonder if you can map pitchbend instead. Much higher resolution than 128 steps like a traditional CC. Or set up a custom NRPM?
@Smeeth - I believe @Synapsya misunderstands what you mean. You want it to "glide" through the sample but instead it jumps from say 1sec to 2sec mark cause jumps in the audio and doesn't smoothly cover 1, 1.01, 1.02, 1.03....1.98, 1.99, 2.00, 2.01...
@JMSexton - exactly.
@syrupcore - I will see if possible to map to that. Apparently Lemur puts out the MSB only of midi CC. No way to assign LSB that I know of.
Thanks, sorry to hijack the forum with this technical issue, but if any Lemur wizard out there might know that would be awesome.
On new iDensity you can write your favorite Number and a precision control, most your finger is far more is precise.
About Lemur I'm not a code genius
