JWM ft Malleous - Wicked Lies (Explicit Lyrics) (EDM/Drill/Country Produced in FLSM and CB3)

This song is not about anyone here. It's about someone outside of the forum I've known in real life for a few years. She was once a wonderful friend who stabbed me in the back. A bit more is explained in the Soundcloud description.
So my latest track is a crossover of Bluegrass, Country, and EDM, with a Drill bridge featuring my good friend Malleous! I produced the instrumental in FL Studio Mobile on my iPhone. Drums are mostly from Black Octopus Leviathan 1, although the Drill drums are from The Lofi Box sample pack from Image-Line. The transition effects are from Sounds of KSHMR 4. The main bass is from GMS, but the 808 bass in the bridge is 3xOSC.
The lead synth is Supersaw (big surprise, lol). The banjo is actually a preset in DirectWave that sounds rather bloody ripper. The guitars were all performed in Garageband, exported, and imported into FLSM as audio clips. (That's right, unlike NS2, FLSM has audio tracks. )
Once I finished the instrumental, I imported the results into Cubasis 3 and recorded and processed my vocals. My mate Malleous recorded his vocals and sent them to me. I wrote most of the lyrics, but he freestyled the bridge.
After the unmastered track was airdropped to my iPad, I used Logic's AI Mastering Assistant to polish it up. Then I uploaded it to Soundcloud.
Anyways, I hope you like this song about the ending of what was once a super close friendship.

Giving my song a gentle nudge upwards lol. I worked hard on this one.
Super saw and banjo - never thought I’d see those together, but it definitely works!
The mix on this one is good as you’ve managed to carve out room for everything without losing any of the instruments.
I didn't know if it'd work either. I wanted to make a Country EDM crossover song, but I also didn't want to mimick the work the late and great Avicii did with Aloe Blacc 11 years prior. So I tried a banjo on a 16th note riff, and it bloody worked. An experiment gone right, lol.
Thanks mate.
That's where a lot of work went into. Sometimes the instruments get lost in the vocal (and sometimes that's intentional, and sometimes not lol), but I wanted everything super crystal clear in this track - from the lyrics to the instruments.
Glad you bumped this, Jim. Very well done. The banjo really worked. I would have liked to hear it behind the chorus, too.
Thanks mate. ☺️ I thought about bringing the banjo in during the chorus but figured it would make the arrangement a bit too busy/distract from the vocals. 😅 Cheers.
