EG Nodes to hardware synth

Has anyone else tried to drive a hardware synth using Nodes?

I’m having issues with midi CCs. No issues with midi note data but I can’t get midi CCs to work. This could just be me doing something wrong!

Sending midi out to my Yamaha Reface CS. For a simple test I’ve set up a slider and assigned that to CC74 which I know is the Filter Cutoff on the synth. Live tweaking the slider or recording a sweep has no effect.

I know the synth is working as expected because the same test works fine with Logic. Repeated the test with another synth too, same outcome.

Anyone else tried? Really want to use Nodes in stand alone with AU drums and samples and midi out to my hardware…

  • @FPC send me more detail in a PM please...the first release of EG Nodes manage only MIDI note but I'm gradually including the other MIDI messages...

  • Ahhh midi notes only right now, that would explain it :) I assumed that because I could assign a slider or XY to a CC number, it must be implemented.

Nothing more to add, other than please add midi CC in a future update
