Conspiracy : A music video
Have you ever had a project that seemed to fight you every step of the way? This song was that way for me.
As always, thanks for watching and listening.
Lyrics included in the video.
For anyone who might be curious, Rhythm guitar by Riffler into Rhino and the Nembrini Wah. Bass is a Synthmaster 2 patch through Mammoth. Drums are Rock Drum Machine.
Since I don't have a great way to record vocals I decided to lean into the "disguised voice" idea and used Bleass Voices, ChowTapeModel, and Impulsation.
I actually edited the video on my iPad using an app called VN.
I know the tone of the video is all over the place but hopefully it gets a few of you to smile and chuckle.

Outstanding! This made me laugh out loud. Great track, Mac! We’re gonna have some fun! I’ll message you.
I was not familiar with PG. I just listened to Holy Diver and Blues for Rabbit. Holy shit! Let’s do some of that, bro. We can do it!
I just listened to Technical Difficulties. Damn!
Yeah. Paul Gilbert is the man. Tons of great
stuff online. Seems really down to earth too.
Glad the video worked for you. I swear it was like pulling teeth at times but in the end it was a good experience.
Truly awesome my man, I'm impressed!
Rick Beato made a recent video interview with him and yeah he seem very down to earth, and fun
Thanks @Pxlhg
I appreciate that. Makes the effort all the more satisfying.
Excellent. I’ve been listening to sea shanties. A little shanty in this. Surprised not to see a clip from Invasion of the Body Snatchers. Keep goin’, bruh!
Thank you very much @LinearLineman
I hadn't thought of it, but I suppose there is a bit of shanty in it. I did think about adding some old Sci-fi clips to the video. I'll keep it in mind for next time.
Always appreciate your ears.
Grabs your attention in the first few notes and doesn’t let go … top job 🙏
Thanks @GeoTony ,
I tried to write a song like my old band Detour would have played and I think this is pretty close.
Of all the videos I've made this one was the hardest from a technical standpoint, but probably does the best job of capturing my weird personality.
