Starfish in his hair

This is uses the new Melody 16th Notes feature of Piano Motifs in addition to the Melody Harmony set to 3rd-6th. That’s it. So it’s really just a thank you to Fernando ( @azul3D_Apps ) the creator of Piano Motifs 🙏
Second press of the generate button and this was the result.
Of course the art is in how you press the generate button. I mean do you use left or right hand ? And then there’s the choice of finger ! Also what expression do you adopt ? Thoughtful composer, failed virtuoso, angst ridden artiste. And what about clothes… on or off ?
It also uses newly downloaded (to me) Decent Sampler Slinky Violin and The Ektara in addition to Woven Strings and an updated Domra.

  • Really amazing results. You definitely made good sound design choices.
    For the record:
    Right hand
    Middle finger
    Angst ridden artiste
    Tastefully nude😂

Piano Motifs is probably the best thing I ever bought for iOS music composition.
It’s the gift that keeps on giving.

    Fernando Morales… say his name!

Nice track, Tony. I just updated a few minutes ago.

I once did a little project where I forced myself to use the first press of the generate button for everything, regardless of what it gave me. Then I just started overlaying additional motifs using different keys and scales, ignoring all the accepted rules of music theory. It was “interesting”.

  • Nice cinematic sound. The voices and structure have a traditional feel, but there's also something really unique to the sound. I liked it quite a bit.

@GeoTony , great choice of sounds. Always fun to listen to tracks using new features.

  • I’ll expect photos @MadeofWax 🫣
Agreed @Paulieworld . I’d thought of doing the same excercise. Might try it at some stage, especially as PM seems to create good ones almost every time !
Thanks very much @ecamburn for the listen and comment 👍
Cheers @azul3D_Apps . I thought the tune on this was particularly nice and it also seems to have several parts. Also the changes in registers without have to manually toggle the octave buttons 😊😊

  • Love those instrument sounds. It actually sounds like a thoughtful composition and not a generated one. Of course you assembled it and assigned sounds to fit it thoughtfully. I’m having fun with piano motif at the moment as well. Will definitely look into those sounds you used. Very nice.
