May I interject my opinion that Thumbjam remains the best app ever - and among its other astonishing tricks is MPE of course. My midi control daily driver!

+1 - ThumbJam's MIDI control was way ahead of its time and still amazing today. I used it just a couple weeks ago, and used it to play some guitar in Korg Gadget with expression. So easy and customizable!

Ater reading all the posts I'm afraid I lost sight of your condition that cc74 be sent - it seems that Thumbjam can't do that. It has a rather confusing midi spec that doesnt afford much configuration, but it does remain wildly expressive.

In most ways I prefer it to the Linnstrument, as it is easier to produce well tuned results. Thumbjam can do scales (a bazillion),and it has three ways to produce its midi: it has hard (no) pitch bend (as in piano or vibes), a smooth glide between notes (very natural pitchbend up to 48 semitones), or (my fav!) no gradated notes like a lap steel or a trombone! Awesome on so many synth sounds for which this was not envisioned by the synth designers. Unlike on the Linnstrument, where I sometimes struggle to place my fingers so as to produce a perfectly in tune pitch on initial touch, Thumbjam will - even in continuum (trombone) mode - register your initial touch as the nearest pitch as defined by the scale selected, and then if you want the microtonal awesomeness it responds to a slight motion of your finger subsequently. You can drop your fingers randomly (if a diatonic scale is selected) and it will play chords in tune from the key, and then you can freely slide about in trombone mode with all the amazing expressivity and it is remarkable!

But , sadly, no cc74 out that I can figure. He's got pretty good notes available here - https://thumbjam.com/docs.php#midi . Now, on my Linnstrument, I have not enabled the y axis, as perhaps there is such a thing as too much awesomeness! I can't risk disturbing the Time/Space continuum.
