£320 is $407, not $300.
Plus £36 shipping takes it to a grand total of $453 for US buyers.
And it's a parallel arpeggiator with some sequencing capabilities, not a sequencer.
Cool device, though!
Is this an app...?
Looks good if all you want are arps and a simple UI, more or less 😉
After the recent 2023 OS update, I can highly recommend giving Conductive Labs' NDLR a second look.
@rs2000 . Never heard of that .. I’ll check it out , thanks
I wish.. Nahh, hardware
Yeah, you’re right.. My bad .
@rs2000 : NDLR is cool for sure but midicakes inventor is constantly updating his product and personally answers most comments on his YouTube page . Plus you can divide a single bar into say 13 equal parts. It’s really a forward thinking unit . NDLR is super cool and innovative too, though.
Just took a second look. Great chord mode, yeah NDLR is serious!
Too bad it’s not an app. I don’t want or need a separate metal box for each digital function. That’s why we have computers!
How does this compare to StepPolyArp, which is 20 times cheaper and you don't need to take a bulky separate device with separate batteries with you? 🤔
(sorry I know... terrible troll!)
True. Hopefully one day someone will do it. And yes @SevenSystems, StepPolyArp is great but if you read the NDLR manual and check out its features, you'll see that it goes quite a bit beyond that.
Although I must say that I quite like the real knobs and buttons of mine 😉
Edit: Patchstorage has quite a number of really excellent Mozaic devices, let's not forget these. You can have ten of these running in parallel if you want.
I know, I wasn't fully serious. I'm the last person to dismiss hardware, I had tens of thousands of $ worth in hardware back in the day. But at this point? Sorry, it's just a gimmick now, except if you get pure control surfaces that are used to control your apps.
I think the sentiment was meant as - what’s it doing in the General App Discussion thread?
Maybe the piece of hardware more anti-GAS that I have seen.
Useless
I was confused because this post is in the "General App Discussion" catagory, not "Hardware". My error...
Yep
Didn’t know there was a hardware section. MY error
Hardware error or software error?
Depends on your age.
Is ED a hardware or software error
(Should post this in the that’s what she said thread. Do we have a Jokes section?)
😂
Dang!
No batteries needed. USB powered
Then I guess I'll have to rephrase:
How does this compare to StepPolyArp, which is 20 times cheaper and you don't need to take a bulky separate device with you that is dangling off your Lightning port 🤣
I use I pad M1 so it’s all usb.. Don’t sell it short, it’s am amazing device …Sound on Sound apparently agreed with me in the August 2024 issue
