Looking for a new USB hub solution and would love some advice from a tech genius :)
I have some super old powered Anker hubs and am starting to have issues here and there with latency etc. I think is introduced by newer OSes and newer apps.
I'd love to get just one powered hub with at least 12 pots (instead of the 3 I'm using now that are all chained together).
I'm currently using an old iMac so connecting the main hub to a USB-A port on the back, but I will be getting a Mac Mini soon which has USB-A ports and Thunderbolt ports as well.
Trying to weight all this out and get a hub that will take me into the future with as few issues as possible.
Any advice greatly appreciated.

Does iOS enter into any of this scenario? I’ve never encountered any wacky slowdowns of USB with Macs, but actually recently encountered a problem with an ARM Linux machine not being able to handle MIDI over USB 2 with particular devices, and needing to limit it to USB 1.1. So weird. Thankfully I’m not doing actual audio with it.
