Heartbreak Highway - first time writing lyrics (sung by Chipspeech)

First time trying to write lyrics, but I can't sing. I used Chipspeech to test the melody and singing. It doesn't pronounce everything right, but hopefully the gist is there. If it's worth a damn, maybe I can convince someone to sing it. 🙂

It's still a work in progress. The drumbeat is still the same throughout the song, so I might spice that up. I am also not super in love with the analog lead but I can't find anything I like better yet.

Advice and feedback on any aspect that I can improve is welcome!

    This is really super nice! I'd say spice up the drum beat a little, and that's about it. I also think Chipspeech sounds great for the vibe. :) If I did vocals for it, I'd probably use vocoded vocals for the vibe, which wouldn't sound too dissimilar to Chipspeech. 😂

    So far it's a solid tune. :)

    I agree .. You could even not change the beat but get a more interesting kick and snare sound . The drums are definitely hurting this otherwise very good track. Also yes, vocode the vocals in.

    Good melody and lyric. The bottom needs boosting, I think, more bass and better drums, as mentioned.

    Wasn’t keen of the vocals on the first version at all but the second one is pretty good.
    Lots of bass for me , nice section at 3:00 etc when it goes to just vocals and drums 👍
