Stringlab purchase advice: Got Laplace, Mersenne, Kronecker, Lagrange, Strng, Spectrum
Stringlab is on sale...and I need advice.
I LOVE Karplus-Strong synthesis. I honestly love all synthesis, but as a violinist and picked instrument player there's just something about physical modeling strings that gets me excited.
I'm not obsessed with modeling exactly what a physical string instrument sounds like, though I do enjoy it as well. I often just want to make a sound that speaks to me.
For anyone who has Stringlab and any of the other apps I mentioned in the title, could you please speak to what makes Stringlab different for you? I know it has great presets, which are a draw, but I'm most interested in whether you feel like the synth itself has capabilities or UI benefits that make it unique. For example, though I have the Spectrum audio bundle, I'm eying RingsFx as a unique take on Rings because of the polyphony and the really cool ability to sequence the exciter.
Thanks for the help! ****
