Koala FX - ALL or NOTHING - possible to wet/dry the FX?
Hi all,
Pretty soon ill have an expression pedal to use when playing midi keyboard.
Being capable of varying levels Im looking forward to seeing how I can fade in/fade out various effects (controlled by the pedal (MIDI)).
Originally I decided on the pedal because the sliders on my M-AUDIO keyboard are getting glitchy.
however, messing with the onscreen FX sliders in Koala, I now notice the effects are really strong in the sense that they more or less mask the timbre of the original sound I'm playing
(In this case a synth sound).
So is there any way to affect wet/dryness, so that the FX won't be so dominant and I can still tell In listening to a synth play?
I've uploaded a video to show what I mean?
I was hoping AUM might have a tweakable wet/dry level, for instance next to the effect slot on the strip, however no.
Many thanks ..

You can put Koala FX on a mix bus, then use a bus send to control the level sent to the FX, then balance with the faders. Just keep in mind that the original sound will be effectively doubled, so you'll probably want to take both faders down considerably.
That doesn't provide control over individual FX. If you need to you can put additional instances on different busses if you need to mix some FX differently.
