  • Oh man, you're up to your old "Where the heck did he get THAT chord from?" tricks again. I'm going to need to sit down with a gin and diatonic :) It sounds like you're reharmonising something I've never heard ...

This one is a gem, @LinearLineman. Your harmony+melodic powers really shine here. Pretty amazing that you improv these lovely songs.

Edit: gosh, you really totally covered the keyboard on some of those chords. I’d love to watch your hands playing the keys to this.

  • Thanks @craftycurate, I really liked your comments.
Thx @dav, like most things my hands look really ordinary when playing. I am conscious of making different shapes with my hands. Sometimes I just try a new shape without knowing how it’s going to sound. If I like the shape I might hold onto it throughout somehow.

  • It's great, I love the contradiction that's in there: the soft mood with the slight dissonance from the spicy chords. The strings are a subtle but nice touch.

  • I love your chordal voicings and movements more and more. Strings provide a really nice backing double it’s perfectly balanced , with ebb and flow. Great work

  • Thank you for listening @richardyot @yellow_eyez. I guess what you both describe is what I do best.

  • Really nice, but I think the other instruments just got in the way. IMHO, this should be a solo piano piece. Just my two cents. I love the sound of cascading water.

  • I like the slightly discordant tones — gives it an edgy feel. Great stuff.

The strings are a nice touch but on the other hand I think it would work just as well as a piano only piece maybe?

  • lol @Paulieworld @klownshed after 60 yrs mostly playing solo piano you can understand why I’m sick of myself! The orchestra keeps me going, but, I imagine, I’ll get tired of that, too. Thx for listening bruhs.

  • I've run out of superlatives to use for your comments. 🤓
