IOS Swift playgrounds and Auv3 development, possible?
Hi all,
I'd like to ask if anyone knows if it is possible yet: IOS Swift playgrounds and Auv3 development? I'm suspect no but maybe something has changed or been updated? I'd love to be able to do that on an Ipad.
Thanks for any input.

Nope. Not possible.

Hi, that is a shame you removed the post! I hope it will be possible one day
Ok, thanks, pity though
so it’s a tricky one. i’ve been able to load some auv3 examples form audio kit into swit ipad, exported and sideloaded the .ipa file but it doesn’t show up in daws. i suspect it’s because of the side loading. if you have an apple developer account, i can send you the swift project so you can try and send it to test flight once in test flight we can then confirm if it’s possible or not. i just need someone with apple account to load to test flight
Hi, thanks for the info. I can certainly give it a go! How can you share the file(s) you refer too?
If you’ve got apple developer account , download this file https://www.dropbox.com/scl/fi/vt6gj5vfr5sjsf854ef4u/AuTester.zip?rlkey=osrcrx3snapzkcvknt0s55knx&dl=0. It’s the auv3 example app by @moby pixel. I just edited it to work in swift ipad.
Once you download it, unzip and you will find the swift project. Just load it into swift on iPad (No mac, so we can be sure it’s all swift playground iPad). Load it to test flight directly from the iPad and let’s keep our fingers crossed it works. Oh and please add me to the “beta testing” [email protected] so I can also download and test from my end.
