  • Hilarious stuff! So true. Playing in small time, local Chicago bands was an experience. One night we showed up for an 8:00 gig. Found out that the owner triple booked without telling anybody, and we didn’t go on until 2:00am. That sucked. I had to work the next day. Another time we thought we were playing in a nice little country rock bar. Turns out it was actually a notorious hangout for bikers. We had a cute female singer. One of the bikers walked up to her and gave her what he probably thought was a compliment. She was terrified! We figured out who was the leader was and took him out to the van for a few tokes. That probably saved our lives. One time we played in an upscale Chicago ballroom. The Chicago Electricians Union sent out a few of their goons and wouldn’t even let us plug in our amps without giving them a cut. Good thing I had a full tank of gas or I might not have been able to drive home. At another gig, there was some drunken clown trying to hit on our singer. She rejected him and he came back a few minutes later, stripped to the waist like Rambo, and started knocking over our gear. Me and her brother beat the crap out of him. I think I might have broke my wrist. Good times. It’s fun to look back and laugh!

You should write a book, or looong lyrics in story style. Thanks for sharing, fun read.

  • “Yes the kick, of course supreme master, I will summon the screams of pain of my ancestors and mix them with some parallel compression”

  • @AudioGus :o That video is funny but also scary. I don't even know what to think.

  • I don’t know why but this picture from the mpc live iii promo cracks me up
Wtf is she even doing, using one finger while scratching on an imaginary turntable?

  • New one. Kind of… unique when it comes to choice of tone for vocals…

The “pitch bend” or should I say “neck bend” is what got me laughing 😂

  • Also if anyone has links for how to get these pitch tuned rubber chickens (is this a thing, I see there’s different sizes, of course). But I should warn you I favor 432hz tuning and auv3 support

  • Preferably multi out support as well
