Hey I like the viola . Cool dirge. Didn’t know what it was till I almost said what’s the drum until I saw bodhrans . Nice !
Cheers @yellow_eyez , much appreciated 😊
Really excellent work mate. I love this dirge a lot. Cheers mate.
Tasty! Gotta love a bodhran.
Very good. Especially the doubled notes. Great clarity, too.
Does what it says on the tin! Some cool sound design going on here too.
Many thanks to you all…
@jwmmakerofmusic , told you it was very different to yours 😊
@celtic_elk , that web site is quite a good resource for Celtic ‘stuff’
@LinearLineman , the hardest part was trying to get the double stops, only manage about 60% of the time but getting better
@klownshed , the title sort of suggested itself !
Wonderful work! 🧚🏻♀️🎻
And only three instruments! That's a good lesson in music production.
Love that warm low drone.
Percussion is perfect.
Viola was played so nicely!
Means a lot coming from the Sound Meister @Spidericemidas 👍
Good one. I didn’t know the SWAMs had double stops!
I set Bow Polyphony to Auto @Wrlds2ndBstGeoshredr . This allows two notes to be played at once but you have to be very accurate with your timing (which I'm not) I.e. playing both notes simultaneously. As I mentioned above I was only successful about 60% of the time.
But I’ve just discovered there is another parameter under the Advanced section called Auto Poly Detection Time (it’s right at the bottom of the advanced section , you have to make the window as large as possible and scroll right down, I could’t find it to begin with🤔).
If you make this value larger it increases the tolerance for the two notes being played at slightly different times but still sounding polyphonically. Hope that makes sense !
