can anyone say whether Dagger does interpolation on the filter cutoff when being controlled by external midi cc? i noticed that Zeeon sounds steppy when I do this, but all my Moog synth apps seem to perform some internal interpolation that makes filter sweeps sound smooth when controlled by 7-bit midi cc.

This might have something to do with how you control the cutoff; is it by direct MIDI input to the app (MIDI mapping), or via the AUv3 parameters in a host?

  • Nice to see the new set of patches.

I mapped the cutoff to a Loopy Pro knob and then controlled the LP knob with an external controller sending CC (Roto-Control). The same configuration sounded smooth on the Moog synths (Model D, Mariana). Is there something I should change? If I’m just manipulating the LP knob via touch, it also sweeps smooth on Zeeon (because AUParameters are high precision). It’s only when midi CC is involved that it steps.
