Am I hearing a little Jimi at the beginning? Then it goes entirely in another direction. Cool track, especially at around 1:15 when you start riffing like JH. Your guitar chops always amaze me.
Great playing, just over too soon. Your pick attack in this made me think more along the lines of Jeff Beck. I do like the way you make that guitar sound.
Nice play @pbelgium! Can you provide any tech details about amp sim/cab you used?
Nice job @pbelgium ! Only really heard the ukulele version of this previously on Youtube so it was nice to hear a guitar version.
Didn't think of that, was just trying to lay down a beat for the loop - should have used a wah . Thanks for the listen.
Well spotted, it's all thumb and fingers, haven't touched a pick since he passed. Cheers.
Guitar chain is all Nembrini. Strat (E tuned down to C#) -> Clon Minotaur -> Faceman (with York Audio Bassman IR) -> Delay3000 -> 501 Chorus Echo. Thanks for listening.
Thanks, I'll check that out - it could be time to break out the ukulele again!
I’ll just put this on repeat for the next couple of years … superb 🙏
Thanks for listening. Play on repeat at own risk. This tune is one of those annoying earworms that had to be exorcised - 'I know a song that'll get on your nerves ...'
Zorba meets the blues.
👍🏻 uh oh, now it will be stuck in my head.
Thanks for listening @LinearLineman @MrStochastic - best way to get it out of your head is to make your own version.
