JWM - Sunbathing in the Eclipse (Strange Slow Space Disco track made in Koala)
So I created this track 100% in Koala Sampler on iPhone and mastered it with Logic. I don't know what the hell genre this is other than it's kind of like Slow Space Disco. 😂
Anyways, the US is getting a huge solar eclipse event tomorrow (with some areas having a total eclipse), so I figured this would be kind of a fun track to make. Cheers and enjoy.

I really enjoy this one. The strange sounding synth patch with the beat reminds me of the type of songs created for The Regular Show, a kids cartoon but I love the sound tracks, you can tell the writers are 70s 80s inspired.
I'll definitely check out the Regular Show soundtracks.

Taken at the peak. Didn't show up proper on camera. A couple neighbours had the special glasses, and I could see the eclipse through those. Fucking breathtaking!
About the same as I got. We’ve had darker days from cloud coverage.
Track is a nice mix of space disco and a lot of other influences too. Can’t put my finger on all of them, but it seems like a bit of a melting pot (in a good way).

Thanks mate, and absolutely it is a melting pot. Been listening to a lot of Prog Rock greats like Yes, King Crimson, and Pink Floyd as well as many other artists listed in that one Prog Rock thread I made a week ago, as well as listening to some funk like George Clinton and Prince, and of course Boney M (the best acoustic Disco group in my opinion) and Giorgio Moroder (the grandfather of EDM).

I always appreciate your feedback. I wanted to capture the vibe of sitting outside during an eclipse, given that back then we had a near total eclipse where I live (and a total eclipse elsewhere in the US).
