MIDI LE - A MIDI to Bluetooth Router - FREE
MIDI LE makes use of the newly introduced MIDI over Bluetooth LE Standard. MIDI over Bluetooth LE comes with a low-overhead and a very low-latency compared to MIDI over WiFi.
This app advertises the iOS devices as a MIDI-Bluetooth LE Device and routes the MIDI data of various virtual ports on iOS out to the device connected on the other end.
Core MIDI over Bluetooth will be part of the forthcoming OS X 10.10 Yosemite and is part of iOS 8. A forthcoming update will provide iOS-to-iOS functionality and an improved UI.
