Can you run Logic without an access to the internet ?
Hi,
Last year, I was a subscriber and went on a vacation where my ipad wasn't connected to the internet.
After some days offline, my access to logic pro was blocked giving a message like "not connected to the internet" or something.
Do you think it was a bug or is there some sort of timer that prevents the access after X days ?
Cheers

It may need to contact the AppStore to confirm that your subscription is current. That might be triggered by a timer.
Now that you say it I feel stupid for asking, lol. Thanks for clarifying my doubts
Wow. So When I'm at a location without internet access, I need to use a different app?
You should be able to test this theory by simply turning off your Internet connection.
I've not had this happened, not even once.
When I'm without internet I leave my iPad in AirPlane mode and Logic has been working just fine?! (Longest time without internet so far has been ~2 weeks).
Don't know if the checkup works differently when it's monthly or annual plan?!
Get in touch with Apple and have them confirm it!
Cheers!
Subscriptions are bad, etc etc etc.
You can certainly be offline for a period and use logic. My guess until the next monthly subscription renewal. Could 30 days, could be 1.
Since it's a subscription model with offline access, I guess Apple has to ensure you won't buy one month of Logic Pro, turn off your Wi-Fi, and make unfinished songs for your lifetime.
I'm no expert but by a combination of an internal timer + checking the device date & time, they protect their app. Totally understandable, and @Samu is right, the question is to be asked to apple
