Simple image editor *SOLVED
Yesterday I discovered that the Photos app can't even do something as simple as resize an image.
So I'm looking for an app where I can do basic (for me) things like cropping, resizing, blur selected parts, change brightness/contrast. Adding objects (rectangles, arrows, text) would be a nice addition but I can live without that. My goal is primarily to work with screenshots, not photo editing, so I don't need any sophisticated tools like Photoshop has.
I tried to search for a while but every app I found was under subscription - I don't want that.
Thank you in advance for any recommendations.
PS: Something similar to my favourite IrfanView in terms of features would be perfect.

You can do all of that in the photo app apart from blurring selected parts. To add lines and stuff you can tap on the markup button.
To resize you can setup a shortcut

One way to go is to use an free online service/app thru Safari.
www.photopea.com is fantastic!
Photopea is like a full blown version of Photoshop anno 2010 - a lot of good features.
The only downside is that is only free is you like Youtube accept ads…

I agree with @cytone. iOS native photo editing is good enough for working on screenshots, instead of blurring selections (to make them unreadable) I just drop a filled rectangle over the area.
Well IrfanView is great indeed but to have the same on iOS, you'd need to go for an advanced photo editor.
For compositing, I'm using Apple's free Keynote app.
Thank you for your suggestions @cytone and @HolyMoses!
Photopea looks like a desktop app ( I like it) one drawback for me is a file management. Web app can't open files probably due security reason so a new *.psd file is created in the app. Similar situation is during saving. I can't save file where I want, I can only download it to browser Downloads folder.
You can always access the files downloaded by Safari thru the Files app…
Another good and easier online service that works without registration, and that is:

Guys,
your suggestions here pushed me to rearrange my search question and I found another 2 interesting apps which are close to what I described in my initial post above - Snapseed and Pixelmator.
So I think now I have enough information and sources what and how to do.
Big thanks all of you!
You could also check out Pixlr. The free version is all you need for editing; the IAPs just add canned effects. You can change the resolution (image size) after hitting Done.
