loading Xinematix libraries into AudioLayer? SORTED by the update or maybe it was expert advice

dumb question i guess. Im new to the eco system, I bought in on the $20 deal

here is what I’m doing:
first, downloading a selection into XinematiX, then tap that same selection in Audiolayer from XinematiX Libraries section. Where it seems to download also.

Two confusions:
1. in AudioLayer, the file you tap (e.g. Woodwinds) says Demo, even though i purchased all of them. Does this mean that when the Demo expires they will remain because i bought them?

th reason i ask that one: I have downloaded French Horns in Xinematix, but the demo i selected in Audiolayer says expired. and all the instruments i have downloaded in Xinematix, and downloaded in Audiolayer all list the samples as “Demo”

  1. Storage wise, whats it all about? In my iPad storage listings, I have “AudioLayer” and “Harry Gohs”, both showing 30+ Gb. Different Gbs…

You don’t have to download the libraries in both apps.
The most straight forward way is to download the libraries in XinematiX
and Audiolayer will automatically see the libraries from Xinematix.

    thanks!
why, if i have say French horns downloaded in XinematiX does Audiolayer say that the demo is expired?

It seems the two apps collections dont match at all.

and I have the libraries available in both apps.

  • I think you should reinstall Audiolayer.

I downloaded the samples in XinematiX only. IPad storage shows only "Harry Gohs" with 21 GB (before I bought and installed Audiolayer, this was shown as "XinematiX" and now changed, since XinematiX and Audiolayer are using the same library).

If you have 2x this storage used, you seem to have 2 different sample libraries.

it seems that following the directions isnt working given pre-existing faxtors… i have already installed other stuff into Audiolayer, large piano EXS.
pain in the neck to reinstall audiolayer to get this going- involves reinstalling 30gb of my own stuff…

Then delete Xinematix and reinstall Xinematix.
Once you’ve deleted Xinematix the libraries won’t
be there in Audiolayer until you’ve done the re-installation.
Don’t try to install the libraries from Audiolayer only from Xinematix.

I don't think there are any official Virsyn instructions yet.

He might mean "the suggestions from the other thead on the Forum".
