The Free Choir (with Chantlings app)
No one is free until we are all free (Martin Luther King Jr.)
I am not free until we are all free
You are not free until we are all free
We are not free until we are all free
‘I wish everyone to be…’ to be…
Free from greed
Free from hate
Free from fear
Then wars will stop
And Earth will thrive again

Soundtrack created with the Chantlings singing app. It is designed to respond and be shaped by human voice. It also has a built-in keyboard and I used it instead of my voice in this video. It’s shown vertically on the right of the screen.
Light EQ has been applied to original audio.

Very interesting. I like unusual music apps. Had a few bucks left on my gift card, so I grabbed it. How do you get the built in keyboard to show?
This one makes me happy so I open it sometimes just to get a laugh. Now I just discovered it mimics phrases, I did not know that. Very .. fun!
@Dav I think they remove the keyboard in the latest version for reasons not clear, I think I saw/read that somewhere, not 100 though.
NO! Oh well… late to the party.
It does do screen recordings so there is a path to pull out the audio via Koala’s “video import” feature.
This app is so much fun to sing into. If it had connectivity and some access to the harmonization engine it would be amazing. As it is now, it's just a toy.
For example, if I am singing in C minor, it recognizes that and harmonizes accordingly. But if I sustain a C too long, it will start singing an E natural, which ruins the whole minor vibe. Very annoying, and rendering the app almost unusable for anything but goofing around.
Indeed I made this video over a year ago with an older version, did not know the keyboard wasn't there anymore, sorry! Maybe they will bring it back in the future.
But I just checked the newer version and even if the keyboard isn't visible, it is there but smaller. The Chantlings can be played with the fingers by pressing on them. It's trickier as the zone is smaller and notes are not shown, but similar results can be achieved. The new version also has the 5th Chantling, the drum one.

It's ability to mimic phrases is great fun, that's the reason I first bought it.
(sorry for this late reply but I thought I had posted it over a week ago, I just found it in the drafts!)
I’ve seen this app for quite a while and decided to buy after viewing this thread (thanks @zvon ). This app is quite cool. However, it’s unfortunate that I can’t use it with AUM or any other host. I guess that’s the plus side since I can still screen record and import into Koala. Overall, I think I will have lots of fun with this quirky app.
