The transport count-in is fixed at 1 measure.
What is the context? You could set something up to trigger your clips after a delay after the transport starts.
The context is that I don't use any clip/donut now. The Loopy Pro serves as a simple player for me to practice keyboard and guitar along with iBassist, Lumbeat Drums and other AU instruments/effects. And I just wish I had more time to prepare before the first beat starts. So if the count-in is fixed at 1 measure, all I can do is create a feature request.
Thanks @espiegel123.
After 2 years I get into the same situation. Is you answer above still valid or maybe is there a workaround, @espiegel123? I have songs with ~200BPM I need to practice. No loop, no clips, just practice with drummer (Lumbeat). And 1 measure count-in is too short for me in this case.
P.S.: I would like to avoid "Song Mode" on Lumbeat.
How about making a button that starts the transport, waits 1 measure, stops the transport, and starts it again ? That would make two measures of count-in.
What is it that gets set in motion by the clock? Let’s think about starting that with an action triggered 2 bars after the clock starts.
My workhorses are Lumbeat drummer and iBassist. If I start them two beats later (the count-in and one additional beat), I’ll only hear that second beat if the metronome sound is turned on, right?
