Here in Portugal they just recently did a deepfake of one of ours top fado singers (ana moura, who has shared a stage with prince) singing an old mockery fado about “I shat myself”.

@pedro @JanKun : I pity the poor fool who attempts to be a musicologist in the post AI era. You’ll probably only be able to tell the difference between a long forgotten club classic and a fake by the amount of lavatorial imagery deployed in the lyrics. Spotting the ones played straight will take a set of very particular skills.
It is truly amazing what is possible now using these technologies. Scary too. I’m really enjoying being able to make videos that I couldn’t imagine making a year or so ago but I can also see how the technology can be abused.

@Blipsford_Baubie : There is a… controversial… theory of transgenderism (which I personally do not subscribe to, and which has been weaponised by many an anti-trans hater, though some trans people do find something of truth in it) called autogynophilia, which argues that the motive for the trans impulse is that it is basically ‘no more than’ a sexualised fetish. (As transvestism is often considered, as if that were problematic.)
In other words, the trans person idealises themselves as their own perfect love object. Or to put it another way, the trans person quite literally wants to go fuck themselves.

Yeah. Around 10 years ago, maybe more, I remember watching a documentary on the status of expensive sex robots, and VR plus certain wearable devices that network with the VR/AR. I’m glad I’m not a current day adolescent. Tech advances since then combined with a lack of small venues and house parties would probably result in me never leaving my own house with these perverse new tools.
Maybe not though. Cause having grown up with Hustler and Penthouse, I remember the erotic fiction did it for me more than the photos and center-folds.
Humans are so complex, each with varying degrees of sexual objectification, morals, fear, ect. Sounds to me like these anti-trans haters are using moral absolutism as the primary weapon. A mad world indeed 🤪
Yah I was too self conscious / repressed to even buy a porn mag in my 20s in the 90s. Cant imagine the effect of it being privately fed into my room at peak wanking age.
