Carolina Reaper:New music video for a Paulieworld classic using a new video technique. It's on FIRE
Sorry about the clickbait title. I couldn't help it 😂
Trying out a new (to me) video technique with Stabe VIDEO Diffusion. Unlike the animator script videos I've shared before, this uses an AI trained on video. I asked Paul if I could use another one of his awesome creations to try it out.
Hope you all enjoy
Here's the original track
As always, thanks for watching and listening.

Hot! I’d like the skinny on how you made it.
Not too long ago Forge Web UI was released. It allows lower memory video cards like mine to run SVD (Stable Video Diffusion).
https://github.com/lllyasviel/stable-diffusion-webui-forge
You can also use ComfyUI if you are comfortable with Nodal interfaces.

I'm not, so I can't really give much guidance on it .
If you have ever used Stable Diffusion to make images, it is basically the same. There is a checkpoint available at Civitai:
https://civitai.com/models/207992/stable-video-diffusion-svd
that is used for motion. Install that into your Forge installation checkpoint folder and the SVD tab will let you drop ANY image into it to make videos from, generated or otherwise.
Like with images, you don't always get what you want but usually you get panning cameras and motions that you would expect (smoke curling, fire burning, water flowing, etc) On my computer, 4 seconds takes about 2 hours.
Of course if you don't mind paying for the convenience a month subscription here:
https://getimg.ai/
makes it super easy. Just get at least the $12 dollar a month tier for 250 four second videos ( just remember, there's a learning curve and not all your videos will be useable) Drop your images here:
https://getimg.ai/image-to-video
and keep generating until you get what you want.
This is the 1985 Chicago Bears of Rock and Roll. Magnificent! Thank you for this!
Holy hell!
Glad you like it Paul. I had a blast making it.
Thank you. Pretty crazy, huh?
Fuckin bass ass bro dude dawgs!
I appreciate the work that goes into these things (and I’m probably the only one with this reaction) but I can’t watch this after seeing the video of the guy in New York who lit himself on fire. Sorry.
Thank you.
Sorry if this brought up a painful thought. Fire, smoke and water are some of the easiest things to create motion with using SVD. I guess that’s always a risk when sharing creative content. You never know how people might react based on their personal experiences.
I wasn’t aware of that. I only thought of this as a light-hearted heavy metal jam. Can you post some more info about that? I would like to know more.
I assume he is talking about this.

Certainly not the idea behind the video.
Right. Yeah, I certainly did not intend to influence anyone’s opinion here, but I gave my honest reaction. Sorry if anyone was offended.
Great work @MadeofWax 🙏
I have no idea what your explanation of how it’s made means but the end results are superb.
The track by @Paulieworld isn’t too shabby either 😀
Thank you GeoTony.
There is a lot to getting a Stable Diffusion install working locally, but once you do it opens up a whole world of possiblity.
Glad you liked it. 😁
This is wild, @MadeofWax. Nice track, @Paulieworld. The wages of excess capsaicin
Thank you myapologies.
Hard to believe how fast the technology has changed. This was practically state of the art back in April. Can't imagine what we're going to see a year from now.
