Atom 2. The +/- bars buttons disappearing (solved; actually they don’t)

I know they can be hidden under menus, but in my case, they are often just gone.
(Honestly, I’d love to just drag the end of the bars left or right to select the number of bars)
Anyway, anyone has a hint on how to deal with the absent buttons?

  • It’s hidden when on lower right corner you put “Processing”

@thomas1977 The +/- bar buttons are also hidden whenever a submenu (second row of icons below the main icon row) is shown. In your screenshot, the grid submenu is visible - if you close it by tapping on the grid icon, the buttons re-appear.

  • Indeed, my bad, I presumed only the side bar menu’s like pattern and layers would hide the buttons. My bad!
    Thanks all!

  • One thing though; am I the only one not very fond of those buttons? Surely I’m overlooking the need for this UI choice, but just dragging the endmarker of the last bar, with undestructive note-handling when shortening would be my preferred choice.

  • Yeah I am also not a fan of this. I wish too that you could just record in without setting the bar length.
