Although it doesn't quite work like sound flower. But it works.
Hmmm...ok, how does it work? Does it allow you to record the system audio? Or direct the recorder to record from a specific app?
You have to download the entire video. Then open the mp4 in AudioShare. Then sample the bit you want from there.
If you have a third party browser (like iCab) or file manager app (like Documents or GoodReader) you can use this site to download YouTube videos:

Yes that's the one
I got iFiles and I was wondering how you access the videos you download.
I used the browser to go to YouTube and hit the the save video button. In the bottom left of the screen there is a transfers button, and they show up there the only option is to delete them from the list. I went under preferences send set the download folder to movies, but nothing appears when I download the video.
FWIW, if you want to just grab audio from YouTube and don't want to download the video, this is possible with Beat Time. However, a more elegant solution that allows you to record/export audio from video or any other source would be preferable, especially if it could be done on the fly and wouldn't require queuing the source from within another app.
I didn't change any settings or specify any download folders. Just used out of the box and the videos ended up at the root level of 'home'.
@Matt Thanks you are right. The thing is that iFiles doesn't automatically show you the download. You have to hit the refresh button each time you download to show the video file. I'm used to things just appearing in programs.
Matt is right. iFiles is a great program. I was able to open audio in AudioShare and video/audio in Vjay. Very useful indeed.
