This is excellent. You play the GS guitar so well. Great job

  • Lovely. I see the moon at 11 AM.

  • I love watching how you achieve those strumming effects on the playing surface. It sounds articulated very much like a real guitar player. I’m hearing a bit of Pat Metheny in your style. This sounds very well planned. Is this a one-off, or do you spend several hours working things out until it’s just right? I’m guessing the latter. Time well spent. Really nice!

  • Very cool. I enjoyed watching the play through and thinking "hey that could be played on a real guitar" - by somebody anyway, not me 🙃 except for that glissando at the end 🙃 I agree with @Paulieworld on the Metheny comparison. 👊🏻

  • Ha ha, you’ve got me @Paulieworld . Yes several hours working it out. I don’t know music theory well enough to just play something like this, lots of trial and error and then about 20 attempts to record a video without (too many) errors.
Thanks @jimhanks . Yes I think this is playable on a real guitar although I’m gradually exploring playing GeoShred in a less guitar based way (still with guitar tuning) as (theoretically) I can play any note with fingers of either hand.
The only resemblance to Pat Metheny I have is a good head of hair 😊

  • This piece resonated with me quite well, even though I listened to it in the middle of a sunny day. It’s a quiet day here, and I’m just going on a long walk by the sea. You made my day. Oh, and I love that mysterious ending.

Another beautifully done. Glad to see you're not just whisking these off without a hitch like I always thought you did. 😅
I was thinking it sounded a bit like Chet Atkins.

Also you made me interested in that RJS guitar but when I looked for it in Decent sampler I couldn't find it. But then I got side tracked on other great free sounds there; I've got to use these for something!

  • Absolutely no chance of me doing things like this 1st time, 2nd, 3rd etc etc 😊
I just treat it like additional practice so nothing lost…
The RJS Guitar is from www.pianobook.co.uk which is a great source of FREE Decent Sampler sounds.

  • Both equally lovely. I know that you are playing sampled notes with a touch interface but your choice of chord voicing and dynamics make me forget enough to believe it is really a guitar. Well played sir.
