  • One can only hope that Heinbach and @brambos see this and decide to make a plugin.

    Wow!
Do you remember your family's comments about the guy back then?

  • I slowed that one down so it's tuned to 432hz. Utter peace and bliss. ☁️🕊

  • I typically limit myself to the Creations section, but I happened to see this. I didn’t see the original broadcast, but I saw a rerun. What a pair… Zappa and Steve Allen! Steve Allen was one of the last great television talents. Not only a brilliant conversationalist, but great comedian. He could be hilarious without ever dragging it into the gutter. I’m sure you also know he was an extremely talented pianist, and prolific composer and improviser. I remember one night he invited several audience members on stage and asked each to select a random note on the piano. Then he sat at the piano, played back the selected notes in the order they were chosen, and composed a song off the top of his head! It reminded me a bit of what you do. I wish we had more people like Steve Allen these days. If you get a chance, look up Zappa on What’s My Line. Thanks for the memories, Mike!

  • @Paulieworld it sounds like Steve. Now if we only had the lost recordings of J. Fred Muggs!
