Sixties Motown girl group type backing oohs
Does anyone know of anything in any of the vocal apps for this? I can’t think, I’ve tried beathawk choirs but it’s not those type of oohs or ahh (shu doo wop, wop, clicks fingers). Same with xinematix. Any sfz or anything anyone?

Korg module Choir dreams has an assortiment of Dooh’s- Dat’s and Da-da’s. Not familiar enough with Motown ito know if it fits, but you try put packs in korg module for 7 days if you have it. Klevgrand Pipa could maybe bring you there and tomofon if you have nice samples to feed it and spend some time with the engine.
That would be fun to sample. Isolate vocal tracks with one of the AI tools and go to town.
Yeahhh, I was hoping I wouldn’t have to think about doing that, if anyone else wants to have a go lol. You’d not have th copyright either would you? I saw one of those apps claiming you don’t need copyright but that’s nonsense surely
Thanks I’ll have a look I do have module
You could try some prompting in Udio and isolate the vocals from that. Getting some decent results with prompt: motown acapella 1960s funk & soul, and specifying your ooh (aah) shu doo wop, wop as custom lyrics.
Actually, I prefer the results when not specifying acapella, but then your oohs are buried in other instruments more often than not.
Maybe Pipa, or SoundFonts, or SFZ. Pure Synth Platinum has some decent voices too.
Check out Korg Module - the Monumental Choir Dreams pack. You should be able to download a free demo. It has a few really nice Dooh-Doots and the like that could get you close with a little work.
There’s probably royalty free sample packs of it if you’re worried about sampling it from records
Sorry, double post
