Vocal samples?

Hello all!

What do you good people use for vocal samples, I can't imagine there would be apps for this. Any decent easy to access sample packs out there?

    I use Splice (paid) and looperman.com (free)

    splice, old sample cds', output arcade VST (subscription) and of course AI stem separation for totally illegal vocal scamming.

    I’m not planning on releasing so I rip from YouTube.
    I think there’s speaches from national archives and stuff that are free to use, but don’t take my word for that. It’s just I remember something about public service broadcasting using old videos for that reason.

    Finding vocal samples is a dark art. TBH, I would never post my vocal sample sources online. Then everybody would go there and use the samples.

    I was messing around with http://udio.com/ which is a beta IA song creator, so still free. I just couldn’t get a voice without music, everything I tried was with music. So after a zillion tries I came up with something interesting and I took the audio stem into another free app https://apps.apple.com/nl/app/music-separator-ai-removal/id6478849090 and here you can separate the voices from the music! A bit of a hurdle but fun to experiment with.

    I did this yesterday with udio and the band camp splitter tool after someone suggested it, it’s really great. I’m not quite sure how best to integrate things or play with samples to get them to better fit my tracks as I don’t make sample based music, just want to pull some backing vox. Pitch shifting sounds dreadful trying to get things in key

    I really wish I could just sing into an ai app or site and get it to transform it into any style like a girl group from the 60s backing vox. I made a thread on it recently but inputting your own audio as you can photos with a prompt is the next step. As in something actually useful to music people rather than fun for making up rude songs
