  • Huzzah! 🎉

  • Not in any way to take anything away from Loopy Pro, the first few paragraphs of this article are, in my opinion, somewhat inaccurate. And since when was Loopy Pro released the day after Logic?

  • I think it’s a case of “I didn’t know about it, so it didn’t exist”

If no one was looking at the moon, would it still be there?

  • That article is full of inaccuracies. Also, according to it, USB audio interfaces have only worked on iOS since 2022 😂

I mean if I had to write an article why do research and fact checking -- clickbait and outrage away is my motto (plus the person writing it is probably underpaid)

IN any case, well deserved congratulations to @Michael without whom ios music would be stuck in the stone age.

  • @SevenSystems "foppish coffee shop minstrels have beaten the format to a meme-ified death." Is this fact or hyperbole ;) ?

  • fact

  • Ye olde school fop

The name of that man? Albert Einstein!

  • Every 5-10 years @Michael doesn’t just invent a game changer… he invents a whole new game:

AudioBus created the interoperability we now enjoy since Apple ran with the concept and gave us an AUv3 standard and a process to insure they all worked well together.

The AudioBus Forum defined a place to ask questions, share creations and market apps, services and products exclusively for IOS creatives.

The various Loopy apps gave @Michael the income to devote his talents to making all his visions a reality after his apps were highlighted by Jimmy Fallon…

Hopefully, this Wired review provides a well deserved round of funding for another 10 years of creative effort.

  • It’s actually not too bad an article and so very positive. Good stuff. I hope that @Michael experiences the expanded rewards he deserves from the publishing of this article. I also hope that this expands out into the other great developers around here. Does this mean that the iPad music world is now a mainstream thing?

  • @audiblevideo @wim 😄 I actually bought the cheapest usable laptop I could find (it's great though) and tried this "Sitting in a coffee shop looking important and busy" thing... I think I'm already an expert at it (and I'm underpaid too!)

And yes, congrats to Michael of course... now we only need an article "18 iOS sequencers you NEED to know about RIGHT NOW" 😉

  • Bump to insure more forum readers know about this recognition for “Loopy Pro”… Wired still has a hugh readship base so this could bring a wave of purchases. One can only hope.
