Sequencer that triggers on midi note input for Logic and Bitwig?
I'm interested in feeding midi from the piano roll into a sequencer with a melody that I've programmed that will advance on note input, kind of like how Midi Dreams and the Mozaic Scripts Infinity Looper and Hypnosequence can. I'm basically trying to find different midi files with interesting rhythms to drive melodies that I create...does anyone know of a good solution for this?
I'm planning on getting Bitwig soon...is this something that's easy to set up using the Grid?
Thanks!

I think Drambo’s sequencer module can advance on midi note with some simple patching.
[edit] I don’t seem to remember how to do it though.
This kinda works, but I’m not sure it’s what you’re after.
Thanks,I'll take a look and give it a try when I get home! Is your 'kinda' comment because Drambo doesn't actually use the note length of the midi input for each note output, like it just uses note input to run the sequencer at its own timing like Rozeta Cells?
I said "kinda" for two reasons. You have to hit the "reset" trigger button to get the first note, and also what you mentioned about the note length. Also because I wasn't sure I fully understand what you're after.
Yeah, thanks. I'm looking to dictate note length from the midi notes sent in as triggers and to dictate the note scale values through the sequencer/midi fx. So if I put a quarter and two eighth notes into the piano roll and programmed a C3, A3, and B3, I'd get a quarter C3, eighth A3, and eighth B3 on output. Thanks for thinking about this!
